Ground Clearance LLC is a cost effective outsource.
Lien searches average less than $100 – depending on the volume of liens filed. Fees range from $25-$45 per name searched in most states, plus a page fee for liens discovered.
UCC’s are filed on the debtor in the United States, not the equipment, so the cost of the search is the same for one or one hundred pieces of equipment.
The process is simple. Click Order a Lien Search, fill in the boxes and click “submit”. The “Additional information” area is there for whatever you want us to know – the specific equipment, or additional names to look for.
Tax liens are often filed separate from other UCCs. The "per name" fee will apply if tax liens need to be searched separately. The turnaround time to receive documents may be longer as we use 3rd parties to retrieve liens filed at counties or courthouses.
Ground Clearance LLC will contact creditors to verify debt or verify the equipment is not held as collateral. We charge an hourly fee for this service. If we contact creditors on your behalf the liability of finding the debt from secured parties is ours.
